Slack

Send a Slack message with the screenshot URL every time a screenshot is completed.

How it works

When a screenshot is ready, ScreenshotCenter sends a message to a Slack channel via an Incoming Webhook, including the screenshot URL and metadata.

Setup

  1. In Slack, go to Apps → Incoming Webhooks (or create one at api.slack.com).
  2. Add a new webhook and select the channel you want to post to.
  3. Copy the Webhook URL.
  4. In the dashboard, add the app and paste the URL into Slack Webhook URL.

Configuration

  • Slack Webhook URL (required) — the Incoming Webhook URL from Slack.
  • Channel (optional) — override the default channel, e.g. #screenshots.
