What we ship

Highlights from recent releases. For API details, see the documentation and OpenAPI reference.

  1. 2026.06.2

Longer cache window and faster create API

The screenshot create API now documents a maximum cache window of 2,592,000 seconds (30 days), while keeping the 86,400 second default. Recent backend improvements also reduce database work during create bursts with Redis-backed cache hints, country/device catalog caching, shared public-client routing data, narrower screenshot queries, and a dedicated cache lookup index.

  2. 2026.06

Thumbnail crop parameters now use box coordinates

The thumbnail API’s left, top, right, and bottom parameters now define the crop region as box coordinates — left/top is the top-left corner and right/bottom is the bottom-right corner — instead of the number of pixels trimmed from each edge. Leave right/bottom unset to crop all the way to the image’s right/bottom edge. Requests that relied on the previous edge-trim behavior need to be updated.
